ISY Elementary School is dedicated to providing your children a safe and nurturing environment that supports and challenges their development. Children in the elementary years are developing the necessary skills, both social and academic, to become confident and engaged students. Our elementary program encourages children to be active, lifelong learners. Skilled, professional teachers at ISY involve children in the learning process through focusing on challenging questions, through creative problem-solving activities, and by engaging critical thinking skills.

Elementary School students at ISY are immersed in a rich curriculum that includes reading/language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Absolutely integral to our program are classes focusing on physical education, art, music, computer instruction, and foreign languages. Children work collaboratively in a diverse, multicultural environment where excellence is the standard and possibilities are unlimited. A thorough background in academics, sports and the arts, provided in a warm and encouraging setting, prepares our students to move forward confidently as learners.

For over 50 years ISY has promoted excellence through a collective effort between teachers, parents, students and community.
